  1. Is there a minimum order?

    One yard is the minimum yardage you can order from Vinyl Surplus.

  2. How long is 1 yard?

    1 yard of vinyl fabric is 36 inches long by 54 inches wide.

  3. Are all vinyl fabrics the same width?

    Yes, all our vinyl fabrics are the same width: 54 inches. More detailed descriptions of each of the different automotive, marine and commercial vinyls are listed on the product pages.

  4. How are the vinyl fabrics sold?

    All of our materials are sold in 1 yard increments with 1 yard being the minimum you can order.

  5. Can I get more information about a particular item before I make a purchase?

    Yes, you have a few options to contact us for more information regarding a vinyl before making a purchase. First, you can fill out a form on our Contact Us page requesting what information you are looking for. Second, you can send an email directly to service@vinylsurplus.com. Lastly, you can give one of our customer service representatives a call at 844-317-8720.

  6. Do you sell to the public?

    Yes, we are an online retail discount vinyl fabric warehouse so we do sell to the public.

  7. Will my fabric be shipped in 1 continuous piece?

    We always strive to fill orders with 1 continuous piece. Due to variations and availability from our manufacturers and distributors, we cannot always guarantee 1 continuous piece. For larger orders, if at least one full 15-yard piece is not available, a member of our customer service team will contact you via phone or email prior to your order being processed.

  8. Can I return the material?

    Yes, as long as the materials are unopened, unsealed and rolled back up and it is within 30 days of receipt. Please refer to our Return Policy page for more detailed information.

  1. What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all major credit cards as well as payments through PayPal.

  2. When will my account be charged for my order?

    Your account will be charged once the order is shipped.

Shipping & Order Status Questions

  1. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

    It takes about 1-2 days for your order to be processed, cut, and shipped from one of our partnered warehouses across the country. When placing your order, you will have the option to decide the shipping method: UPS or Fedex – Ground, 3 Day Select, 2 Day Air, 2 Day Air AM, Next Day Air Saver, Next Day Air, or Next Day Air AM.

  2. How can I track my order?

    You can track your order by logging into your Vinyl Surplus account and viewing your order history page.

  3. Can I change or cancel my order?

    Once your order has shipped, you will be unable to change or cancel your order. To determine if your order has shipped or not, view your tracking information on your Vinyl Surplus account or send us an email at service@vinylsurplus.com.

  4. Part of my order is wrong or missing. What do I do?

    If part of your order is wrong or missing, please contact us via email at service@vinylsurplus.com or by phone at 844-317-8720 within 48 hours of receiving the material. Remember only uncut, unsealed materials are eligible to be refunded, so please inspect thoroughly before you start cutting the goods.

  5. I haven’t received my order yet.

    Please refer to the tracking information by logging into your account first. If you still have questions or think there is an error, please contact us via email at service@vinylsurplus.com.

  1. I forgot my password.

    If you forgot your password, there is a “Forgot Your Password?” link on the Vinyl Surplus Login page. Click the link and that will direct you to a page to enter your email address for a new link to reset your password.

  2. How can I edit my account information?

    Once you are signed in to your Vinyl Surplus Account, you will be able to edit your account information by clicking on the “Account Information” link on the left toolbar. From here, you can edit your name and email address. You will also be able to manager and edit your billing and shipping addresses on your Account Dashboard.

  3. How can I view my account history?

    You can view your account history by clicking on the “My Orders” link on the left toolbar of your Vinyl Surplus Account.

  4. What is your privacy policy?

    Yes, our website is secured using an industry standard encryption, which is provided by our SSL certificate.
